Jodie began her beauty career back in the early 2000's working for various prestigious cosmetic brands before moving further into freelance makeup industry and educating roles.
Jodie prides herself on being at the forefront of the makeup and beauty industry, this focus is what has sustained Jodie's reputation for this long and requires allot of drive and passion as continued travel and training takes her all over the world.
Known for her clean, fresh, natural beauty approach to her makeup application Jodie's main focus for many years was Bridal and special occasion makeup seeing her travel across the country to all destinations to make up beautiful brides. Her love of travel and never ending passion and experience within beauty/makeup industry inevitably lead her to working with a dream makeup team at New York Fashion Week for multiple seasons, as well as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
All this gives Jodie extensive experience working with hundreds varying skin tones, types and colours spanning all areas of the globe. In 2019 Jodie keyed her first international fashion show at New York Fashion Week where she directed the makeup team. Her works have been published in Marie Claire, Vogue Australia and Vogue Italia.
Being a qualified beauty therapist as well as makeup artist enables Jodie to offer the complete beauty and makeup package including skin care, lashes and brows.
Renouned for airbrushing, Jodie was one of the first makeup artists to introduce the art of airbrushing to Australia after training in Hollywood at the All About Face Academy with Nakeah Fuller.
Jodie whilst highly experienced in Editorial, Runway, Bridal/Wedding, Formal and Fashion Makeup, also expands into hairstyling, trained by world renouned Nadine Johns - Alcock.
Following an 8 year role as head of the makeup department at a large training college, today Jodie continues to educate at makeup schools and beauty colleges around the globe sharing her skills and passion with thousands of students each year. From holding classes at her studio on the Gold Coast to Bali Indonesia, The USA and beyond.
In 2013 Jodie founded the Pro Makeup and Beauty Show Brisbane.
2018 saw Jodie move into an owner and CEO role of the first and original eyelash grafting company in Australia, Graft A Lash, where she continues to run the family owned and operated business since 1999.
